Venice
In late February 2010 Sarah visited Venice with a group from her workshops.
''The more I get to know Venice, the more I realise how the atmosphere changes from area to area. I discovered the Jewish Quarter this time with it's slower pace and moving history, and the fantastic 12th century Byzantine Mosaics on the island of Torcello.
But I think the maze of narrow waterways in the Santa Croce area and the picturesque vistas around central Dorsodura will remain favorites."
Sarah is just starting a new collection of Venice paintings resulting from this trip, which will be on show at Ramsgill Studio in the early summer 2010.
